For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
As joyous as it is to be called a child of God, we also have the glorious revelation that we are brethren with Christ. It is a great honor to own Him as brother and that He would not be ashamed of us before the Father. Christ is our ambassador with God, a friend who sticketh closer than a brother. And we are fellow laborers with Christ in the great commission of God to His children.
What a great feeling to know that you’re bot only serving Jesus and doing the Father’s will, but you are serving with Jesus, side-by-side to please the Father and bring glory to His name! When we think of the love God has for us, how great and undeserved it is, how can we not show that same love to other, having experienced what we’ve experienced in life? God is love, and so we ought also to love others even as He hath loved us. How difficult is that? Yet how simply is that?
Today the team begins ministry in Kumi hosting a children’s confrence and working in the local hospital to perform surgeries for the people that they could NEVER in their lifetime afford. This morning only 5 of us showed up on time for breakfast. Dave brought down the Evangecube, a powerful and simple gospel illustration.
Dave is explaining the Evangecube to David and Carolyn Fagaly, new members on the trip this year. Dave also passed out tracks and gospel coins to the team.
We’re ready for the work and can’t wait to share with you tonight about what God accomplishes through us! Continue to watch the Hope Missions Facebook page for updates and search the hashtag #TeamHope17!
As always, thanks from reading.
